Your Business Was Meant to Set You Free. Let’s Make It.

Know Exactly How To Step Out of the Day-to-Day Without Everything Falling Apart, So You Can Run the Business, Instead of the Business Running You

10-11am Tuesday 19th & Wednesday 27th May
(Pick Your Date)

You’ve built a team of great, capable people, and yet somehow, everything still comes back to you.

You’re making all the decisions, fixing all the problems, doing all the chasing, and you’re always the final sign-off.

Even though you know, deep down, someone else should be handling it.

You’ve tried to delegate it, but it comes back half-done, done wrong, or not done at all.

So it’s back on your plate, and the cycle continues.

Meanwhile, the business you built to give you freedom has become the thing that owns ALL your time (in and out of the office).

But here’s what most business owners get wrong at this point:

They assume the answer is another hire.

A COO, or an operations director. Someone senior who will finally take it all off their plate.

It’s almost never the right move.

Because nine times out of ten…

The person who could actually set you free is already on your team.

You just haven’t set them up to do it yet.

In 60 Minutes, You’ll Learn:

What To Look For In Your Number Two

There’s no single job title for this person. They might be your ops manager, your general manager, your senior project lead, or someone without a formal title at all.

What matters is the attributes – and most business owners have never been taught what those are.

We’ll walk you through exactly what separates someone who helps you from someone who frees you.

How To Set Them Up To Execute Your Vision

It’s not enough to hand someone a job description and hope for the best. A great number two needs three specific things from you to thrive:

Alignment, Accountability, and Autonomy.

We’ll show you exactly how to give them each one, and why skipping any of them is the reason they can’t perform the way you need them to.

How To Develop Them Into A Strategic Partner (Not A Task Manager)

The difference between someone who manages your to-do list and someone who runs your business is in their development.

You’ll leave with a practical framework for building owner-like thinking in the person you already have, so they remove your decision fatigue and your people problems, rather than adding to them.

This Session is Worth Your Time If…

✔️ You have someone in an operational role (ops manager, GM, senior lead, right-hand person, the job title doesn’t matter) – and you want to get more out of that relationship

✔️ You’re still the bottleneck in your own business even though you’ve got the team in place to not be

✔️ You’ve tried to delegate before and it’s ended up back on your desk – more times than you’d like to admit

✔️ You can’t remember the last time you took a proper holiday without checking in – despite building a business to give you more freedom

✔️ You want to spend your time on growth and vision – not chasing, fixing, or approving every small thing

If you’ve been putting this off, the reasons probably sound something like this:

Maybe they’re not.

But “not ready” usually means they haven’t been given the exposure, the context, or the development they need to be ready. That’s not a them problem. That’s a problem with the setup. The good news is it’s a fixable one.

You don’t have time not to.

Every week you stay in the bottleneck role is another week the business can’t grow past you. Developing your number two isn’t a thing on your plate, it’s the thing that gets all other things off your plate.

This is worth being honest about.

For a lot of founders, being essential has become part of their identity, and stepping back feels like stepping out. We’ll talk about what your role should look like once you’re not the person everything runs through.

These aren’t real reasons to put this off. They’re the thinking patterns that keep founders stuck for years longer than they need to be.

Why Us?

We’re Emma and Julie, and we’ve lived this from both sides.

Emma is a founder. She’s been running her own businesses since she was 25. Ideas-driven, visionary, and for years the person everything ran through.

By 2017, she’d realised that her natural strengths alone were never going to get her where she wanted to be. She needed someone who could run with her ideas and execute on each one with the energy and commitment it deserved.

That person was Julie. Julie had originally come into the business as Communications Manager and was promoted to COO in 2017. From that point, Emma and Julie deliberately built the kind of partnership where Emma could step out of the day-to-day without things falling apart. By 2021, Emma had relocated to Fuerteventura and was working on the business just four hours a week.

We’re not theorising from the sidelines. We’ve done this with our own business, and we’ve since coached hundreds of founder-operator pairs through the same shift. And this session is everything we wish we’d known before we started.

The Freedom You Imagined When You Started Doesn’t Have To Stay Out Of Reach.

The founders who get there are the ones who know how to develop the person already standing next to them.

Not the ones with massive teams or ‘smarter hires.’

That’s a learnable skill. And 60 minutes with us in May is the place to start.

See you there.
